Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Weather-Kok app ("the App") provided by kyusung-studio ("we," "us," or "our"). By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Purpose

These Terms define the conditions, procedures, and mutual rights and responsibilities between us and our users regarding the Weather-Kok app service.

2. Services Provided

Weather-Kok provides the following services:

• Real-time location-based weather information (temperature, feels-like, humidity, wind speed, sunrise/sunset)
• Real-time PM10 / PM2.5 air quality readings and grade indicators
• 7-day weather forecast and hourly forecast details
• Home screen / lock screen weather widgets
• Dark / Light theme

3. User Obligations

Users must not:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the App
• Spread false information through the App
• Use the App for commercial purposes without our prior written consent
• Interfere with the operation of the service or disrupt other users' experience
• Engage in any activity that violates applicable laws or regulations

4. Data Sources and Accuracy

Weather-Kok's weather and air quality data is sourced from the Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) and AirKorea official public APIs. While we strive to provide accurate information, we are not liable for inaccuracies caused by errors or delays in these public APIs.

Weather information is provided for reference only. For safety-critical situations, please verify with official government channels directly.

5. Advertising

The App may display advertisements through Google AdMob. By using the App, you agree that advertisements may be shown during normal use.

6. Service Changes and Interruptions

We may change or suspend all or part of the service in the following cases:

• Server maintenance or technical updates
• Changes to public API policies
• Other operationally necessary circumstances

We will provide advance notice when possible. In urgent situations, notice may be given after the fact.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for:

• Service interruptions caused by external factors such as API errors or server downtime
• Damages arising from decisions made based on the weather information provided
• Service unavailability due to user device issues
• Disputes between users

8. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the App, including its design, code, and content, belong to kyusung-studio. You may not copy, distribute, modify, or commercially exploit any content from the App without our prior written consent.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will take effect upon being posted in the App or on our website. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located at our principal place of business.
